Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Functional Head SAP MM/WM to lead procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and supply chain transformation initiatives through SAP solutions. The role will be responsible for driving SAP MM/WM strategy, solution architecture, system optimisation, and digital transformation across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP MM, WM/EWM, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and cross-functional SAP integrations.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Strategy & Leadership

- Define and drive the SAP MM/WM roadmap aligned with business and supply chain objectives.
- Partner with Procurement, Stores, Logistics, Manufacturing, and IT teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Lead SAP transformation, implementation, rollout, and process standardisation initiatives.
- Drive adoption of best practices in procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.

SAP MM/WM Solution Delivery

- Lead end-to-end SAP MM/WM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Oversee solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM/WM with SAP PP, SD, FICO, QM, and PM modules.
- Manage system enhancements, process optimisation, and automation initiatives.

Procurement & Warehouse Excellence

- Optimise procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.
- Improve material planning, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and stock visibility.
- Drive process improvements in purchase-to-pay (P2P), goods receipt, inventory control, and warehouse management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and audit requirements.





Team & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and mentor SAP MM/WM consultants and project teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions.
- Manage relationships with SAP implementation partners and external vendors.
- Conduct user training and change management initiatives to improve system adoption.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in SAP MM and SAP WM/EWM modules.
- Hands-on experience in Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Logistics processes.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Strong understanding of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Material Management, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain operations.
- Experience integrating SAP MM/WM with PP, SD, FICO, QM, and PM modules.
- Solid project management, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Manufacturing, Paper, Textile, FMCG, or Process Industries.
- 10-15 years
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Digital Supply Chain transformation projects.
- Experience managing multi-plant procurement and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM, warehouse automation, and supply chain optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
- SAP MM/WM Certification preferred.
