Role & responsibilities

- Assist the E&I; team in routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities under the guidance of senior technicians/engineers.
- Assist in the maintenance of motors, control panels, cables, sensors, transmitters, switches, and other field instruments.
- Support calibration and checking of basic instrumentation devices and control systems.
- Assist in identifying electrical/instrumentation faults and reporting abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow instructions related to equipment isolation, electrical safety, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work area.
- Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain basic maintenance records and checklists as required.
- Coordinate with operators and maintenance personnel during equipment inspection and maintenance activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the E&I; department.
