Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support and enhance Finance & Controlling processes through SAP solutions. The role involves requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, user support, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation, support, and integration with cross-functional SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO Implementation & Support

- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and integrations.
- Execute system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities.

Business Process Management

- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize financial and controlling processes.

User Training & Stakeholder Management





- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for end users.
- Conduct user training sessions and create process documentation.
- Work closely with Finance, Accounts, Procurement, Sales, and IT teams to ensure seamless business operations.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support.
- Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
- Understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
- Experience in SAP implementation, support, rollout, or migration projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- SAP FICO Certification preferred.
- MBA/CA/ICWA/CMA qualifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 10-15 years
- Experience in manufacturing, paper, textile, chemicals, or process industries.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations or migration projects.
- Experience in handling business process improvements and financial reporting requirements.
