Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Enterprise Data Architecture to join our consulting and technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cloud-native data platforms and enterprise analytics solutions supporting Business Intelligence, AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and Digital Transformation initiatives.You will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, including CTOs, Product Owners, Business Consultants, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and client leadership, to translate business requirements into robust and scalable data architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and drive end-to-end Data & Analytics Solution Architecture from concept through implementation.
- Design scalable enterprise data platforms using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
- Define enterprise Data Strategy, Data Architecture standards, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
- Develop and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design normalized, de-normalized, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, transactional, temporal, time-series, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data models.
- Review business requirements and recommend appropriate technologies considering scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Drive Azure cloud architecture, platform design, provisioning, optimization, and governance.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, mentoring, and code/design reviews to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive Data Quality,



Data Governance, and Data Lifecycle Management initiatives.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical solutioning, client presentations, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to hiring, mentoring, and capability development of Data Engineering and Architecture teams.
- Maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, technical standards, and engineering roadmaps.

- 6+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, governance, security, integration, and performance optimization.
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work hands-on with architecture, solution design, prototyping, technical reviews, and problem-solving.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
