Key Responsibilities:
• Install, commission, and validate microscopy and imaging systems at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection, and system performance
checks.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, optical, mechanical, and electronic
breakdowns.
• Attend service calls within defined timelines and ensure timely case closure.
• Configure instruments, imaging software, cameras, controllers, and workstations.
• Provide customer training and technical support for instrument operation and
maintenance.
• Prepare installation, service, PM, calibration, and other required technical reports.
• Maintain accurate CRM/service records and track spare parts and service tools.
• Coordinate with logistics, sales, applications, and global technical support teams as
required.
• Assist with product demonstrations, FAT/SAT, upgrades,
software updates, and
technical training.
• Follow company SOPs, manufacturer guidelines, quality standards, safety
requirements, and confidentiality policies.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through skilled and responsive service
support.
• Travel Requirement - Extensive travel across the assigned territory (70 to 80% travel).
Experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in servicing scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, or
advanced microscopy systems.
• Experience with optical instruments, biomedical equipment, or imaging systems is
highly desirable.
• Experience in field service for capital equipment will be an added advantage.
