We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API Automation and Web Automation. The ideal candidate should have solid programming skills and hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API and Web applications
- Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
- Develop and execute UI automation test scripts using up-to-date tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
- Validate end-to-end business workflows across UI and backend systems
- Identify, log, and track defects and ensure timely resolution
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in API Automation API Testing
- Strong experience in Web Automation (UI testing)
- Good programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript (any one preferred)
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Rest Assured
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and request/response validation
- Familiarity with framework design (POM, BDD, Hybrid frameworks)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Good to Have
- Experience with performance or security testing basics
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL)
- Experience working in a product/startup environment
