The role requires hands-on experience in testing complex SOX areas, working independently with process owners, and delivering high-quality workpapers under tight timelines.The ideal candidate is analytically sharp, detail-oriented, and confident handling complex processes and judgments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end SOX testing(ToD & ToE)across business and IT-dependent controlsIndependently test complex and judgmental areas, including but not limited to:Inventory valuation & reservesStandard costing & variance analysisRevenue recognition (manufacturing-specific scenarios)Fixed assets & capitalizationJournal entries and management review controlsPrepare and review SOX workpapers in line with PCAOB and Big 4 standardsPerform walkthroughs and control design assessmentsIdentify control gaps, deficiencies, and support remediation effortsCoordinate directly with process owners, controllership,



and external auditorsReview junior team members’ work and provide on-the-job coachingSupport SOX scoping, risk assessment, and annual planning activitiesEnsure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and documentation requirementsRequired Skills & Experience3–9 years of experience in SOX / ICFR, preferably in a Big 4 environmentMandatory experience in manufacturing industryStrong understanding of COSO frameworkProven experience testing complex SOX controlsHands-on exposure to:ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)Data analytics–enabled testing (good to have)Solid documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Preferred QualificationsCA / CPA / ACCA (or pursuing)Experience working with US-listed companiesExposure to PCAOB auditsPrior client-facing or offshore–onsite coordination experienceWhat We’re Looking ForSomeone who is technically strong, execution-focused, and audit-readyComfortable pushing back with facts and analysisAble to handle pressure, complexity, and ambiguityQuality-focused with a strong ownership mindset
