About the Role

Stock Bazaar is looking for a Senior Software Developer who combines strong full-stack engineering skills with a real understanding of stock markets and trading systems. You'll work across web, mobile, and backend infrastructure, building products that handle live market data, trading workflows, and financial analytics. This is a hands-on role for someone who can own features end-to-end and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications (Android & iOS) for trading/stock market products

- Build and optimise backend services handling real-time and historical market data feeds

- Work on front-end interfaces for dashboards, charts, watchlists, order placement, and portfolio views

- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate trading/market requirements into technical solutions

- Set up and manage deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Dev Ops practices (CI/CD, monitoring, scaling)

- Ensure application performance, low-latency data handling, and data accuracy for financial information

- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews

- Troubleshoot production issues quickly, especially around market hours and live trading windows

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical architecture decisions

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years working specifically as a Senior Software Developer

- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Type Script, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks (Material UI/Tailwind CSS). Experience with Angular or Vue.js is an advantage

- Strong hands-on experience building scalable backend applications using Python (FastAPI)





- Experience building and shipping mobile apps for both Android and iOS (native or cross-platform: React Native/Flutter)

- Hands-on experience with cloud-native application deployment using AWS (preferred), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions/Jenkins), Linux server administration, monitoring, and infrastructure automation

- Experience designing scalable Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, API integrations, asynchronous processing, caching (Redis), and distributed systems

- Good understanding of stock markets, trading concepts, or financial/trading data (market feeds, order types, charts, indices, portfolio/holdings logic, etc.)

- Strong experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, database optimization, indexing, and query performance tuning

- Experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Test Automation, Code Reviews, and maintaining high code quality using modern development practices

- Ability to own features end-to-end, from requirement analysis and system design through development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical estimation, release planning, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Good to Have

- Prior experience in a fintech, broking, or trading platform company

- Prior experience developing trading, brokerage, wealth management, or fintech platforms handling real-time market data

- Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch)

- Experience with Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, Jira, and Confluence

- Knowledge of Trading View Charting Library, D3.js, High charts, or similar visualization frameworks





- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot or Cursor

- Understanding of regulatory/compliance basics related to trading platforms in India

- Experience with performance optimisation for high-frequency data updates
