1. 4 to 6 years of hands on experience administering Splunk including index and data management search optimization and dashboard and alert configuration.
2. Robust hands on experience administering Grafana including dashboard design data source integration and user management.
3. Hands on experience administering Pager Duty including escalation policies on call scheduling and incident workflow configuration.
4. Experience integrating Splunk Grafana and Pager Duty with each other and with other IT systems for end to end alerting and incident response.
Secondary Skills
1. Working knowledge of Linux system administration including basic troubleshooting file systems services and log management.
2. Working knowledge of Windows Server administration including services event logs and basic troubleshooting.
3. Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP IP DNS and SNMP as they relate to monitoring.
