GTA (Global Technology Alliance) is an engineering program under the Energy Management | Power Systems | ETO Business of Schneider Electric. GTA has ~ Electrical & Mechanical Engineers that offer Engineering Services (Quotations, Order Engineering, Product enhancement/maintenance, Electrical CAD Content Creation etc.) to the ETO (Engineer to Order) plants of Schneider Electric in North America, Europe, India etc.

The team continues to grow in numbers and expand its footprint to serve other geographies, which demands a need for dedicated leaders for Continuous Improvement & Quality.

What do you get to do in this position? Process & Quality Improvement Functional workstream leader for the Engineering domain with a focus on end-to-end order execution excellence.

Serve as the Quality champion for your location — analyze OCN data and identify quality initiatives to deliver end-to-end engineering/quotes quality and customer satisfaction.

Utilize Lean skills to address complex process opportunities with simple, effective solutions.

Identify constraints to achieving goals and collaborate to find and implement effective solutions.

Align Order Execution processes across all project engineering teams. KPI Tracking & Performance Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria based on SPS principles.

Audit and lead SPS (Schneider Performance System) Front End activities for the GTA Team.

Drive results through others, resulting in tangible positive impacts on Key Performance Indicators.

Training, Knowledge & Development Identify training and development needs across the total engineering domain.

Provide experience and exposure opportunities to leverage the Electricer community, sharing of ideas, and best practices by leading the OE Communities of Practice.

Build, deploy, and lead the quality strategy for the GTA team.

Stakeholder Management & Business Transformation Serve as the primary point of contact within the project execution domain to resolve barriers, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement.

Work across several lines of business with multiple stakeholders.

Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Input into future tools, processes,



and business transformation projects (Titan, SE Advantage, ACE OE, SEE XP, Central Scheduling/Loading).

Primary Skills and Qualifications Skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on life experience as well as work experience.

Education & Experience BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering (or equivalent — open to others if it suits the requirement).

Minimum 6+ years of experience in engineering, quality management, and continuous improvement projects.

Quality & Continuous Improvement 7QC Tools, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Value Stream Mapping (VSM).

Engineering Skills Knowledge of CAD, PDM, and associated engineering applications.

Professional Competencies Demonstrated business acumen, time, and priority management skills.

Ability to drive process and culture change in a mature organization with success in leading improvement activities and delivering results.

Collaborative, proactive, and able to adapt to a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Robust organizational skills — ability to handle multiple assignments in parallel and prioritize effectively.

Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to eliminate barriers using problem-solving tools.

Self-directed, reliable, and results-oriented — drives results both individually and through others.
