About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, analytical and business-oriented Chief of Staff – Finance to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on financial analysis, business performance and decision-making. The role will act as a bridge between Finance, cross-functional teams and leadership, with a strong focus on analyzing financial and operational data, preparing dashboards and reports, and presenting actionable insights to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities.
- Prepare MIS, financial reports and management presentations.
- Analyze actuals vs. budgets, forecasts and business targets.
- Build financial models and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Track key financial and operational KPIs.

Dashboards & Business Intelligence

- Build and maintain dashboards for the CEO and senior leadership.
- Consolidate data from multiple functions to provide a clear view of business performance.
- Identify gaps, trends and anomalies through data analysis.
- Improve reporting formats and dashboards based on leadership requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, Sales, Marketing and other teams to gather financial and operational data.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate inputs.
- Validate data, identify inconsistencies and follow up for clarification.
- Understand how different functions impact overall business performance.

CEO & Leadership Support





- Work closely with the CEO on financial and business analysis.
- Prepare reports, presentations and insights for leadership reviews.
- Present financial and operational performance to senior stakeholders.
- Highlight key risks, trends, gaps and opportunities.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

- 1–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A;, Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Founder’s Office or similar roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Experience with MIS, dashboards and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive tasks to closure.
- Solid business acumen and attention to detail.
- Comfortable interacting with CEOs and senior leadership.

Preferred

- MBA / PGDM in Finance or related field.
- Experience in a startup, SaaS, technology, e-commerce or high-growth organization.
- Experience working with Founders / CEOs.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Zoho Analytics or similar tools.
- Prior experience in FP&A;, Strategic Finance, Founder’s Office or Chief of Staff roles.
