*SPM Machine Design Engineer*

*2–5 Years Experience*

*Key Responsibilities*

1) Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) based on customer requirements.

2) Prepare 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.

3) Design machine mechanisms involving pneumatics, hydraulics, linear motion, indexing, clamping, drilling, tapping, pressing, and automation.

4) Select suitable bearings, shafts, gears, motors, cylinders, sensors, guideways, couplings, and other standard components.

5) Perform basic mechanical calculations for strength, torque, power, speed, and component sizing.

6) Coordinate with electrical, automation, production, and assembly teams during machine development.

7) Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, maintenance, and cost optimization.

8) Modify designs based on trial results and customer requirements.

9) Prepare BOMs, part lists, and technical documentation.

*Required Skills*

1)



2–5 years of experience in SPM / automation machine design.

2) Good knowledge of machine design and manufacturing processes.

3) Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

4) Knowledge of GD&T;, fits & tolerances, and engineering drawing standards.

5) Understanding of pneumatic systems and industrial automation.

6) Knowledge of materials, machining, fabrication, and standard mechanical components.

7) Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems during assembly and machine trials.

8) Positive communication and coordination skills.

*Educational Qualification*

ITI/Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
