Position : Business Development Manager (Government Vertical)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive sales in the Government Sector vertical. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling government tenders, identifying opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in government departments and PSUs.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop business opportunities within Government departments, PSUs, and public sector organizations
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including GeM portal, RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs
- Prepare proposals, documentation, and bid submissions in coordination with internal teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and decision-makers
- Track upcoming projects, tenders, and procurement plans
- Coordinate with OEMs and partners for pricing and technical compliance




- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a solid pipeline
- Ensure timely follow-ups and successful closure of opportunities

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of experience in Government/PSU sales
- Strong understanding of the GeM portal and tendering processes
- Hands-on experience with RFP/RFQ documentation and bidding
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in IT, Networking, or Infrastructure sales
- Existing relationships within Government departments or PSUs
- Familiarity with compliance and public procurement processes
