Job Summary

We are looking for a Jigs & Fixtures Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks and aerospace manufacturing/design environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and detailing jigs, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids used for aerospace components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop jigs, fixtures, tooling, and assembly aids using SolidWorks.
- Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and manufacturing/detailing drawings.
- Understand aerospace component manufacturing and assembly requirements.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering drawing standards.
- Design fixtures considering accuracy, repeatability, accessibility, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, quality, and engineering teams for design validation.
- Review existing fixtures and implement design improvements for productivity and quality.
- Support prototype development, fabrication, assembly, and try-out of jigs and fixtures.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable aerospace quality and engineering standards.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs,



and revision-controlled drawings.

Mandatory Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
- Good experience in Jigs & Fixtures Design.
- Experience in aerospace / aircraft / aerospace manufacturing domain.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tolerance stack-up and DFM/DFA principles.
- Experience in 3D modelling, assembly design, and 2D detailing.
- Good understanding of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret component and assembly requirements and convert them into fixture/tooling concepts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with aerospace structures/components and assembly tooling.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to CNC machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems and engineering change processes.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per month
