Business Development Executive

Location: Punjab

Job Overview

We are looking for a driven, articulate, and target-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to develop new school partnerships across , Punjab

The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective schools, connecting with key decision-makers such as Principals, Directors, Trustees, and Academic Heads, generating qualified meetings, conducting product presentations and demos, and supporting the conversion of schools into long-term partners.

This is a field- and outreach-intensive B2B role requiring excellent communication, persistence, relationship-building skills, and confidence in interacting with senior school management.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

- Identify and research potential schools across Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi NCR.
- Build and maintain a database of prospective schools and key decision-makers.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, field visits, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to convert prospects into qualified meetings.

2. Decision-Maker Identification

- Identify the appropriate decision-makers within schools, including Principals, School Directors, Trustees/Management, Academic Heads, and School Coordinators.
- Navigate school administration and front-office processes to connect with senior management.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.

3. Sales Pipeline Management





- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline from lead generation to school onboarding.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings with school leadership.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and presentations for Principals, Management, and academic teams.
- Support parent orientation sessions when required.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM or Google Sheets.

4. Relationship Building & Conversion

- Clearly communicate the organization's value proposition to school leadership.
- Understand school requirements, challenges, and decision-making processes.
- Handle questions and objections professionally.
- Follow up consistently and move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Coordinate with internal teams for proposals, commercial discussions, and agreement closure.

5. Reporting & Coordination

- Provide regular updates on lead generation, meetings, pipeline, and conversions.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales reports.
- Share market intelligence, competitor information, and feedback received from schools.
- Coordinate with internal academic, onboarding, and management teams after a partnership is confirmed.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

- Number of qualified school leads generated.
- Number of discovery calls and meetings scheduled.
- Number of school demos and presentations conducted.




- Number of new school partnerships onboarded.
- Lead-to-meeting and meeting-to-conversion ratio.
- Consistent and timely follow-ups.
- Accuracy and discipline in CRM and pipeline management.
- Effective identification and engagement of decision-makers.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and professional while interacting with Principals, Directors, Trustees, and senior management.
- Strong cold-calling and lead-generation abilities.
- Good research skills and ability to identify decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
- Organized and disciplined approach to sales follow-ups.
- Presentable and professional personality.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, CRM tools, email, and LinkedIn.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to travel for school visits across the assigned territory.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 6month –3 years of experience in Business Development, Field Sales, B2B Sales, Institutional Sales, or Education Sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication and convincing abilities may also be considered.
- Prior experience in school partnerships, education services, EdTech, institutional sales, or B2B sales will be an advantage.
