We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lead Technician to join our growing technical team and take ownership of installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance activities at customer sites.

Job Description

As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for leading site-level technical work and ensuring that installations are completed safely, correctly and according to Hylinks' quality standards.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, comfortable working at customer locations and capable of leading a small team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise technicians during installation and service projects.
- Install, configure and commission CCTV camera and surveillance systems.
- Handle entrance automation systems, including automatic gates, barriers, access control and related equipment.
- Install and troubleshoot home automation and smart-home systems.
- Work with ELV systems, structured cabling, networking and related low-voltage systems.
- Read and understand basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation requirements.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis at customer sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, customers, vendors and other site teams.
- Ensure proper cable routing, termination,



labeling and equipment installation.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning before project handover.
- Train and guide junior technicians.
- Maintain tools, equipment and installation materials.
- Prepare basic site reports, service reports and installation updates.
- Identify technical issues and provide practical solutions.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain professional conduct at customer locations.
- Ensure projects are completed within the assigned timeline and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and low-voltage systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking, IP addressing and LAN configuration.
- Experience with CCTV installation and configuration.
- Experience with automation systems is an advantage.
- Ability to use basic electrical and networking tools.
- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Willingness to travel to project and service locations.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are preferred:

- CCTV & surveillance systems
- Access control systems




- Automatic gates and entrance automation
- Boom barriers
- Video door phones / intercom systems
- Home automation
- Structured networking
- ELV systems
- Electrical and low-voltage installations
- Smart-home technologies

Education

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, or a related technical field is preferred.

Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
