JOB DESCRIPTION – RIDER CUM MARKET PERSON

Department: Sales / Parts / Marketing
Location: Paluck Ashok Leyland Workshop
Reports To: Parts Head / Sales Head/Admin
Vehicle: Own Bike as per company policy
Experience: 0–1 years preferred

Job Purpose

To increase local market coverage, generate vehicle/parts/service leads and develop relationships with transporters, fleet owners, workshops and commercial vehicle operators. Distribute Coupans for drivers to lure them to come in workshop for work.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Development

· Daily visit to single owner fleets and drivers running in nearby area.

· Identify vehicles operating in the assigned territory.

· Generate leads for service, spare parts and vehicle requirements.

· Promote genuine Ashok Leyland parts and workshop services.

· Develop relationships with local mechanics and drivers/Single fleet owners.

Parts Sales

· Identify customers requiring genuine spare parts.

· Collect part requirements and coordinate with Parts Department.

· Deliver parts/documents where required.

· Follow up quotations and pending orders.

· Develop repeat parts customers.

Service Lead Generation

· Identify vehicles due for periodic service/repair.





· Coordinate with workshop for customer appointments.

· Follow up leads until conversion.

Reporting

· Maintain daily market visit report.

· Record customer/vehicle details and potential business.

· Submit daily lead and conversion report.

· Report competitor pricing/activity.

· Maintain follow-up status of all leads.

Suggested Daily Targets

· 20–25 market/customer visits

· 5+ qualified leads

· 2+ service/parts opportunities

· 100% follow-up of previous leads

Requirements

· Valid two-wheeler driving licence

· Own bike preferred

· Good knowledge of local market

· Good communication and convincing ability

· Smartphone/WhatsApp

· Willingness to travel extensively

Personal Attributes

Energetic, target-oriented, confident, disciplined and solid in field sales/follow-up.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
