Test Automation Engineer/Subcon Other · Full Time · REMOTE

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team, with a focus on framework development, API/backend testing, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure, infrastructure validation, and Python. The role requires developing and executing automated tests, validating complex API responses, and working with cloud/remote execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and API automation expertise
- Validate infrastructure using Azure or another cloud provider
- Design and implement API automation tests, including testing business functionality without using UI
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues with API responses, including Full Time changes and upstream data problems
- Handle testing when development is incomplete or a dependent service is down using mocking/stubbing or service virtualization
- Test APIs with dynamic inputs and authenticate APIs using OAuth/OAuth2, JWT, or basic authentication




- Execute automated test suites using cloud/remote execution and setup cloud/remote systems
- Work with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Azure DevOps, EC2, Browserstack, or Sauce Labs

Requirements

- Have 5-8 years of experience in test automation
- Have experience with Azure
- Have infrastructure validation experience with Azure or another cloud provider
- Be proficient in Python
- Have API automation expertise

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure Monitor
- Experience with Disaster Recovery Testing
