Job Summary

We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to join our Academic Team. The SME will be responsible for developing high-quality, curriculum-aligned academic content, assessments, teaching-learning resources, and supporting the academic team in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across grades and subjects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop curriculum-aligned content for assigned subjects and grades.

Create lesson plans, worksheets, question banks, activities, projects, and other teaching-learning materials.

Develop and review Question Papers, Blueprints, Answer Keys, Assessment Materials, CLA/ARC and Remedial Content.

Ensure all content is aligned with the prescribed syllabus, learning outcomes, competencies, and academic calendar.

Follow prescribed content templates, formatting standards, style guides, and academic guidelines.

Conduct thorough content review and quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, age appropriateness, and error-free content.

Ensure questions and learning materials are appropriately mapped to learning outcomes and cognitive levels/Bloom's Taxonomy.

Review content for conceptual accuracy, grammar, language, difficulty level, and syllabus alignment.

Collaborate with other SMEs, Academic In-charge, Coordinators, and the Planning Team.

Incorporate relevant 21st-century skills, experiential learning, interdisciplinary connections, and technology/AI integration wherever appropriate.

Research and incorporate updated and reliable academic resources.

Revise and improve content based on review feedback within defined timelines.

Maintain proper documentation and version control of all academic resources.

Adhere strictly to content submission timelines and quality standards.

Support the academic team in resolving subject-related academic queries.





Required Skills & Competencies

Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong academic/content development and editing skills.

Good understanding of school curriculum and assessment practices.

Ability to create engaging, learner-centric, and age-appropriate content.

Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.

Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple assignments.

Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspace/OneDrive and relevant digital tools.

Familiarity with AI tools for educational content creation will be an added advantage.

Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant subject.

2–5 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, academic content development, assessment development, or a related field.

Experience in school education, publishing, EdTech, or curriculum/content organizations will be preferred.
