About the Role

We are looking for an AIF Operations professional to set up & support the day-to-day operational activities of our Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fund operations, investor reporting, capital calls, distributions, reconciliations, and coordination with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day AIF operations for Category II funds.
- Coordinate with fund managers, investors, custodians, fund accountants, trustees, banks, and other service providers.
- Maintain and update investor records, capital account statements, and fund-related documentation.
- Support capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, and investor allocations.
- Assist with preparation and review of investor statements and periodic reports.
- Perform bank, fund, and investor reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate with fund accounting teams for NAV, portfolio, and financial data requirements.
- Assist with onboarding of new investors and ensure required documentation is complete.
- Support KYC/AML-related operational requirements and maintain appropriate records.
- Assist in preparation of MIS and management reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely operational records and ensure adherence to internal processes and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational queries and issues.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of AIF / Alternative Investment Fund operations, preferably Category II.
- Knowledge of compliances, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and fund accounting.




- Experience with reconciliations and financial data management.
- Good understanding of KYC/AML and investor onboarding processes.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, lookups, sorting, filtering, and data reconciliation.
- Good attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.

Education

- Relevant Professional Degree or at least Bachelor’s degree in B.Com, BBA, Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Candidates with CA/CFA/CS or other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in AIF operations, fund accounting, investment operations, private equity, asset management, or a similar financial services environment.
- Experience specifically with Category II AIFs will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be experienced operations qualified preferably with compliance knowledge and capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders while ensuring that fund and investor-related activities are completed accurately and on time.

Salary

₹4–7 LPA, depending on experience, relevant skills, and interview performance.
