Staff Nurse – Labour Room

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse – Labour Room to join our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide skilled nursing care to mothers during labour and delivery.
- Assist obstetricians during normal and emergency deliveries.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labour.
- Maintain labour room instruments, equipment, and a clean, aseptic environment.
- Provide compassionate support, guidance, and counselling to patients and their families.
- Follow hospital policies, obstetric protocols, and emergency-care procedures.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.

Requirements

- GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.




- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labour Room / Delivery cases preferred.
- PV Process Mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and emergency care.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work rotational shifts.

Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred
Education: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
Location: Navachethana Hospital, Yealhanka New Town, Banglore.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
