Key Responsibilities
1. Export & Import Operations
Manage the end-to-end Export and Import documentation process in compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and DGFT guidelines.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, custom house agents (CHAs), and transport agencies to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
Prepare, verify, and process commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (BoL), Certificates of Origin, Bill of Entry, and Letter of Credit (LC) documents.
Handle EPCG, Advance Authorization, MEIS/RODTEP, and other export incentive schemes.
Track shipments regularly and resolve logistics bottlenecks or customs clearance issues proactively.
2. Purchase Management
Source and evaluate raw materials, components, or trading goods from domestic and international vendors.
Request quotations (RFQs), negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency.
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track purchase lifecycles from requisition to delivery.
Maintain vendor relationships and conduct periodic performance reviews for quality and delivery reliability.
3. Accounts & Finance Support
Handle day-to-day accounting entries related to export-import transactions,
vendor invoices, and purchase bills.
Reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), specifically dealing with foreign currency transactions, exchange rate fluctuations, and bank remittances (FIRC/EBRC).
Manage banking documentation for international payments, including Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and Import/Export Bills for Collection.
Assist internal and external auditors with annual financial audits, tax filings, and GST compliance (specifically regarding exports, refunds, and input tax credit).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience handling combined Export-Import operations along with basic accounts or purchase functions.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally Prime, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
Robust working knowledge of MS Office (Excel is mandatory).
Familiarity with ICEGATE, DGFT portal, and GST filing procedures.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
