The Prospect:
UST is looking for an experienced Architect I – Enterprise Solutions to design, develop, and govern enterprise-scale technology solutions aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in solution architecture, cloud technologies, enterprise integration, and modern application architectures, with the ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate effectively with business and engineering stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end enterprise technology solutions that address business and technical requirements.
- Develop solution architectures, integration strategies, technology roadmaps, and technical blueprints.
- Create architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, data flows, integration models, and architecture documentation.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, technical governance, and risk assessments.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads on architecture best practices, design patterns, and enterprise standards.
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, project managers, business leaders, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Present architecture recommendations, solution options, and technical decisions to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational guidelines.
- Identify technical debt, assess architectural risks, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Promote reuse of enterprise services, platforms, common capabilities, and architectural patterns.
- Design cloud-native and hybrid solutions using modern architectural principles.
- Define strategies for APIs, microservices, integrations,



event-driven systems, and data architecture.
- Support application modernization, digital transformation, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technology innovation initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate adoption based on business and technical requirements.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in Enterprise Application and Solution Architecture.
- Experience designing solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of Microservices, APIs, Integration Patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, and Distributed Systems.
- Experience with Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Modeling.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Understanding of Security, Identity Management, and Enterprise Governance.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and managing architectural technical debt.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using architecture modeling and visualization tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, ArchiMate, or similar tools.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP certifications.
- Experience working on large-scale digital transformation and application modernization programs.
- Solid knowledge of security architecture, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Proof of Concepts (POCs), technology evaluations, and innovation initiatives.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams and providing enterprise-level architectural guidance.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architecture environments.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, solution design,



enterprise architecture, or solution architecture roles.
- Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bengaluru.
