Job Summary

Aavana Inn — Hotel & Banquet is looking for an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead the overall hotel operations and help establish the property as a professional hospitality destination in East Delhi.

The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, excellent guest-handling skills, and the ability to manage teams, vendors, service standards, and day-to-day hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Ensure smooth functioning of Front Office, Housekeeping, Banquet and support operations.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety and hospitality.
- Lead, train and manage hotel staff and ensure proper discipline and grooming.
- Monitor room occupancy, room rates, revenue and overall hotel performance.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Monitor operational expenses and control unnecessary costs.
- Ensure proper maintenance of rooms, public areas and hotel facilities.
- Develop and implement SOPs for daily hotel operations.
- Coordinate with the management on business performance, staffing and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, statutory requirements and safety standards.




- Support banquet sales and operations to maximize business opportunities.
- Prepare regular operational reports for management.
- Take ownership of the hotel's overall guest experience and reputation.

Requirements

- 5–8 years of relevant hotel/hospitality experience.
- Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, Resident Manager or Assistant General Manager will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
- Experience managing hotel teams and daily operations.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of hotel revenue and cost control.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment.
- Basic knowledge of hotel software/PMS, MS Office and reporting.
- Candidates with experience in boutique hotels, business hotels or banquet properties will be preferred.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who is comfortable being involved in both management and daily operations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
