Job Title: Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our freight forwarding business in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight carriers, and industry partners. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients and vendors. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Generate leads, conduct meetings,



and close deals to expand the customer base. Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-15 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the freight forwarding industry.
- Robust network and industry connections within the freight forwarding sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
