Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Horticulture Manager to manage and supervise landscape and horticulture operations across residential/commercial properties. The candidate will be responsible for landscape maintenance, gardening activities, manpower management, plant health, irrigation systems, and overall upkeep of green areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and manage day-to-day landscape and horticulture activities.
- Manage lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, indoor/outdoor plants, and seasonal plantations.
- Develop and implement landscape maintenance schedules.
- Supervise gardening teams, supervisors, and horticulture staff.
- Allocate manpower and ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Monitor pruning, trimming, mowing, weeding, planting, fertilization, and pest-control activities.
- Identify plant diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, and take corrective action.
- Manage irrigation systems, sprinklers, drip irrigation, and watering schedules.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of horticulture tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Plan seasonal plantation and replacement of damaged/dead plants.
- Coordinate with vendors for plants, manure, fertilizers, pesticides, landscaping materials, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory of plants, fertilizers, chemicals, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures while handling equipment and chemicals.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain high standards of landscape presentation.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly horticulture reports and maintenance records.




- Handle client/resident complaints related to landscaping and gardening.
- Coordinate with Facility Managers and other departments for smooth site operations.
- Control horticulture costs and minimize wastage.
- Ensure all work is completed as per approved landscape standards and schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in horticulture and landscape maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plants, trees, lawns, fertilizers, pesticides, and pest management.
- Practical knowledge of irrigation and landscaping systems.
- Good manpower handling and team management skills.
- Ability to plan and execute landscape development and maintenance activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and site-management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and report preparation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites/activities.

Preferred Candidate

Preferred candidates with experience in residential communities, apartment projects, commercial properties, hotels, or facility management companies will be given preference.

Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
