About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Senior Manager – Interior Design to take complete ownership of the interior design function for our luxury residential projects, particularly high-end villas, bungalows and second-home developments.

The candidate will independently manage the interior design function from concept development through design finalization, execution coordination and final handover, ensuring premium design standards, quality, timelines and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of the Interior Design function/department.
- Develop interior design concepts for luxury villas, bungalows and second homes.
- Understand client requirements, project briefs and luxury design expectations.
- Prepare and review design concepts, layouts, mood boards, material palettes and detailed drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, project teams, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Review and approve design drawings, furniture layouts, finishes, lighting, materials and specifications.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits and resolve design and execution-related issues.
- Manage selection and approval of materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture and accessories.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely availability of approved materials.
- Monitor quality, workmanship and adherence to approved designs.
- Review BOQs, estimates and design-related costs to ensure budget compliance.
- Identify design gaps, execution challenges and provide timely corrective solutions.
- Manage external interior design consultants,



contractors and vendors wherever applicable.
- Establish standard design processes, specifications and quality benchmarks for the department.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, approvals, revisions and material selections.
- Ensure timely completion of all design deliverables as per project schedules.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on design progress, challenges, costs and action plans.
- Build and manage the Interior Design team as the function develops.

Required Experience & Skills

- 15–20 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with leading real estate developers, luxury residential companies or premium interior design firms.
- Strong experience in villa, bungalow and second-home projects is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience in luxury/high-end residential interiors.
- Strong understanding of premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and interior detailing.
- Excellent knowledge of design development and execution processes.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
- Good understanding of project budgets, BOQs and cost control.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization/rendering tools, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a mature, responsible and hands-on qualified who can independently lead the Interior Design function and take complete ownership from concept to execution and handover.
