About the Role: Are you passionate about writing clean code, building scalable backend systems, and automating manual workflows? We are a growing Healthcare Tech startup currently in an exciting phase of setting up our core operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Software Engineering Intern to join our IT team. In this role, you won't just be fetching coffee—you will get hands-on experience writing Python scripts, managing code repositories, building APIs, and working with cloud technologies. If you want to build systems from the ground up and make a real impact, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do:

- Write clean, effective Python scripts to solve backend challenges, process data, and automate daily tasks.
- Actively use Git and GitHub to manage code, create branches, submit pull requests, and collaborate seamlessly with the team.
- Develop, test, and maintain APIs to ensure smooth communication between different software components.
- Write and execute Bash scripts to streamline server operations and technical workflows.
- Assist in setting up and managing internal workflows using Google Workspace and automation tools.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Education: Final-year student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Python Programming: Strong foundational knowledge of Python (logic, scripting, and basic data manipulation).
- Version Control:



Solid hands-on experience with Git and GitHub (you should be comfortable with commits, branching, and pull requests).
- API Fundamentals: Good understanding of how web APIs work, including how to test and integrate them.
- Command Line: Comfortable navigating the terminal and writing basic Bash scripts.
- Please include a link to your GitHub profile or portfolio in your resume/application!

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves): Don't worry if you don't know all of these—we are happy to mentor and teach you! However, any prior exposure to the following will give you a major edge:

- Previous internship or academic projects demonstrating solid backend development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with no-code/low-code workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier.
- A genuine interest in improving the Healthcare Technology sector.
