Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Platform Engineer with strong expertise in GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES), GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Cloud Technologies . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise-scale DevOps platforms, automating software delivery processes, administering GitHub Enterprise ecosystems, and optimizing Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

The role requires extensive experience in build and deployment automation across multiple technology stacks, including Java, Node.js, Python, and cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities
GitHub Enterprise Administration
Administer and manage GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) environments.
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise GitHub workflows and reusable workflow frameworks.
Create and manage GitHub Apps and enterprise integrations.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot self-hosted GitHub Actions runners.
Manage GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) features including code scanning, secret scanning, and dependency management.
Plan and execute GHES upgrades, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and replication activities.
CI/CD & Automation
Design, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Automate build, test, deployment, and release management processes.
Support builds and deployments for Java, Node.js, Python, and cloud-native applications.
Drive DevOps and DevSecOps adoption across development teams.
Kubernetes & Infrastructure Management
Administer Kubernetes clusters ensuring high availability and performance.
Design and manage cluster architecture, node pools, namespaces, storage, networking, and resource allocation.




Monitor and optimize Kubernetes workloads, pods, services, and infrastructure.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Utilize Rancher and Helm for cluster operations and application deployment.
Automation & Integration
Develop automation solutions using Python, Java, Terraform, and Ansible.
Integrate GitHub APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
Build reusable automation frameworks to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
Skill Requirements

CI/CD; Docker; Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN); Java; Node / Node JS; Python; Go; AWS; GCP

Must have experience working with builds and deployments of various programing languages like Java, NodeJS, Python. Nice to have experience with dot Net &Go; source code.Must have experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise Administration.Experience working with Self-hosted runners on GitHub EnterpriseMust have experience with creation of GitHub Apps at the enterpriseMust have experience working with enterprise standard GitHub workflows & Re-usable workflowsProgramming Proficiency:



Solid programming skills in languages such as Python or Java for automation tasks using any languageExperience working with GitHub Advance Security Tooling (GHAS)Demonstrable knowledge of the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including domain knowledge in one or more of the following Source Control Management (SCM) including Git & GitHub workflows, and the value of DevOps & DevSecOps Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for continuous integration and deployment practices.Manage and maintain GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, secure execution environments, and workflow orchestration.Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher & Helm.Administer, maintain, and monitor the Kubernetes clusters and hardware infrastructureDesign and manage the Kubernetes cluster layout, resources, and storageMonitor and optimize Kubernetes resources, such as pods, nodes, and namespaces.Qualifications: Overall 7+ years of experience in GHES administration, with deep expertise in GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and microservices architecture.Strong scripting, API integration, and automation skills (GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).Experience with GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimizations.Cloud expertise (GH Cloud, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps security best practices.
