Responsibilities:

Server & Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows Servers (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) using VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud environments like Azure.

Identity & Access Management: : Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Azure AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Single Sign-On (SSO) to enforce security policies and manage user credentials.

Patching & Maintenance: : Deploy routine software updates, OS security patches, and firmware updates.

Backup & Disaster Recovery: : Oversee system backup solutions and regularly test disaster recovery protocols to protect critical business data.

Security & Compliance: : Configure endpoint security, firewalls,



and antivirus solutions; perform vulnerability remediation; and enforce least-privilege access models.

Troubleshooting & Support: : Act as Tier 2/3 escalation support to diagnose hardware failures, OS crashes, network connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

Operating Systems: Advanced proficiency in Windows Server OS and Windows 10/11 enterprise environments.

Directory Services & Networking: Deep working knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and LAN/WAN architectures.

Automation & Scripting: Experience writing PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and deployment workflows.

Virtualization & Cloud: Familiarity with Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and core Azure services (IaaS/PaaS).

AI & Intelligent Automation: Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI-assisted troubleshooting, IT operations automation, and responsible AI adoption within enterprise environments.

Database Administration: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, database maintenance, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security management, and troubleshooting.
