About the Role

Varistor Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for ITI Fitter freshers to join our Service Engineering team for fire extinguisher servicing, refilling, installation and maintenance.

This is a hands-on field service role suitable for candidates who enjoy working with tools, mechanical equipment and visiting customer sites. Freshers are welcome, and complete product and technical training will be provided.

The selected candidate will be trained in fire extinguisher servicing, refilling procedures, inspection, installation, troubleshooting and basic fire safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out fire extinguisher inspection, servicing and refilling at customer locations and company premises.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment.
- Dismantle, clean, inspect and reassemble extinguishers as per company procedures.
- Check extinguisher components for damage, leakage, corrosion and general condition.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and replacement of defective components.
- Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
- Assist senior engineers during installation, maintenance and service activities.
- Conduct periodic maintenance and preventive servicing of fire extinguishers.
- Ensure extinguishers are properly filled, pressurized, sealed, labelled and ready for use.
- Maintain service records, inspection reports and job completion documentation.
- Handle company tools,



equipment, spares and materials responsibly.
- Travel to customer sites for service and maintenance assignments.
- Follow all company safety procedures and customer-site safety requirements.
- Maintain professional behaviour and communication while dealing with customers.
- Report damaged equipment, recurring issues and material requirements to the reporting manager.
- Complete assigned service work within the given timeline.

Required Qualification

Mandatory:

- ITI – Fitter certification.
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Willingness to work in a field-based technical role.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with experience in fire extinguishers, fire-fighting equipment, mechanical maintenance, fabrication or industrial servicing will have an added advantage.

Mandatory Requirements





- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Bengaluru and other assigned locations.
- Comfortable with hands-on work and field service.
- Candidates should be physically comfortable handling fire extinguishers and related equipment.
