KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
1.Design and develop SPM components, assemblies and products
2.Create 3D models,2D drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.
3.Convert concepts and customer requirements into manufacturable designs.
4.Apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and engineering standards.
5.Ensure DFM/DFA, quality, cost and reliability in designs.
6.Coordinate with manufacturing, quality and production teams.
7.Resolve design and manufacturing issues through effective root-cause analysis.
8.Support prototype, testing, validation and product improvements.
9.Review designs and provide technical guidance to junior designers.
10.Take ownership of design projects and deliverables.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1.Strong experience in SolidWorks/ Creo / CATIA / AutoCAD or equivalent.
2.Good knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
3.Strong understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
4.Experience in sheet metal, machining, fabrication, or welded assemblies preferred.
5.Solid problem-solving, communication, and team working skills.
6.Ability to work independently and take technical ownership.
