Role & responsibilities:

- Perform reconstructive procedures: flap coverage, skin grafting, tendon repair, post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, cleft lip/palate repair, facial trauma repair, pressure sore treatment, and burn contracture correction.
- Conduct aesthetic procedures: rhinoplasty, liposuction, blepharoplasty, face-lift, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation/reduction, and scar revisions (as applicable).
- Attend trauma calls for hand injuries, facial fractures, and soft tissue defects.
- Provide surgical support for oncology, orthopaedics, dermatology, and general surgery cases requiring reconstruction.
- Ensure proper pre-operative planning, informed consent, and post-operative follow-up care.
- Manage acute burn cases in coordination with ICU and emergency teams.
- Supervise burn wound care, debridement, infection control, and fluid resuscitation protocols.
- Maintain operative records, consent forms, post-op notes, and photo documentation (for cosmetic/reconstructive tracking).
- Adhere to NABH documentation standards and infection control protocols.
- Monitor surgical outcomes, re-admissions, and patient satisfaction levels.




- Mentor residents or junior surgeons in microsurgical, flap, and cosmetic techniques.
- Contribute to CME sessions, clinical audits, and interdisciplinary case discussions.
- Support hospital-based awareness programs on burns, trauma prevention, and cosmetic surgery education

Preferred candidate profile-

- MBBS + MS (General Surgery) + MCh / DrNB in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery – Mandatory
- Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery / Microsurgery / Burns – Desirable
- Medical Council Registration – Mandatory

Competencies

- Skilled in soft tissue reconstruction, cosmetic enhancements, and microsurgical techniques
- Artistic surgical planning with excellent hand skills and anatomical understanding
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (oncology, trauma, ICU)
- Patient empathy and aesthetic counselling ability
- Robust documentation and post-op care practices

Location

Salary:

· ₹2 Lakhs - ₹3 Lakhs Per Month (Negotiable as per the candidate requirement)

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
