About the Role

Indian Electricals is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant Executive to join our team.The ideal candidate should have practical experience in accounting operations, including receivables, payables, banking, and reconciliation, along with working knowledge of Tally and Excel. The role also requires a basic understanding of GST and TDS.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain customer outstanding, ageing, due-date and payment commitment trackers.
- Follow up on overdue customer payments and ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams regarding customer deductions, rate differences, short supplies, and credit/debit notes.
- Verify vendor and principal invoices against PO, GRN, tax invoices, and approved commercial terms.
- Reconcile principal and brand ledgers, including scheme credit notes, claims, and rate difference settlements.
- Prepare payment schedules based on due dates and approval status.
- Record receipts, payments, bank, and journal entries accurately on a daily basis.
- Complete bank, customer, vendor, and internal ledger reconciliations.
- Support GST and TDS working files and maintain proper supporting documents.
- Prepare Accounts MIS covering receivables, payables, bank position,



compliance status, and pending exceptions

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience.
- Experience across receivables, payables, banking, and reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of Tally or comparable accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation.
- Understanding of PO to GRN to invoice matching, receivable ageing, vendor ledger, GST, and TDS basics.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle financial information with confidentiality.
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Tally or Excel certification is preferred.
- Experience in electrical, trading, or B2B businesses is an added advantage.
