Job Summary

Application Release/Deployment

Application Operations Production Support

Key Responsibilities
Release Management Ownership of Applications including Deployment & Support, Build and E2E provisioning of the environment
In-depth knowledge and past experience in leading an Application Environment Management service.
Study and analyze the Application architecture and an in-depth hands-on experience of the DevOps processes and tools.
Have an understanding of service validation and testing (functional, non-functional, regression and UAT testing) processes.
Ability to guide the customer towards the best practices of environment management, related to Privilege access, Environment Builds, Application Deployments & Configurations and DevOps Tools.
Will be required to handle daily / weekly project inflows and report out completion status.
Interface with client Stakeholders
Work in a matrix organization with interactions with QA, ADM and Infra teams
Would be required to troubleshoot any application environment related issues & problems within agreed timelines.
Manage agreed SLA’s / OLA’s with internal and external stakeholders.
Identifies, Plans, and Manages Process Improvement Projects to improve processing performance.
Develops, maintains and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation.
Previous Environment Management experience.
Facilitate the Environment Workshop with required stake holders and dependent Groups (Deployment, Testing, and any Third-Party Vendors) in order to garner the requisite inputs on test requirements, expectations,



technical and operational dependencies, processes and envisaged challenges.
Act as a Point of contact for Environment Allocation - Manage and Track
The allocation of Environments for dedicated projects/releases both Strategic and Maintenance Releases/Applications both Flagship/Accelerated Role Out
The allocation of Environments for Adhoc Projects/Testing
Environment usage

Skill Requirements
Strong project management skills.
Good understanding of SDLC.
Hands on experience on Release, Change and Deployment management.
Experience with DevOps processes and Tools like Jenkins, UrbanCode etc.
Good knowledge of one or more App/Web server – IIS, Weblogic, Apche,Tomact, Jboss
Experience in application deployments and support of J2EE/ .Net applications.
Prior experience in architecting, designing or running an application support service which includes deployments and resolving incidents.
Should have good understanding of working with PAM and APS.
Working knowledge of the usage of the monitoring tools for Application Performance Monitoring, Log file monitoring, Middleware Monitoring etc.
Must have good hold on communication written & verbal.

Should have team management skills & valuable mentor as technical, able to provide the good technical backup support to Level 2 & Level 3 Engineers
