Position: Safety Officer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 7–8 Years
Qualification: Diploma in Fire & Safety

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and fire safety regulations at the site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor compliance with PPE, work permits, safe work procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and workers.
- Prepare and maintain safety-related reports, records, checklists, and documentation.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of fire-fighting equipment and emergency systems.




- Coordinate emergency drills and evacuation procedures.
- Work closely with project/site teams, contractors, and management to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure contractor and worker compliance with site-specific safety requirements.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Fire & Safety practices and occupational health & safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections and prepare reports.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle site safety responsibilities effectively.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
