Position: Pre-Primary Class Teacher

Position Overview

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and creative Pre-Primary Class Teacher who can provide a secure, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The teacher will focus on foundational learning, social-emotional development, communication skills, and overall personality development through play-based and activity-based teaching.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle a Pre-Nursery/Nursery/LKG/UKG class as assigned.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate, play-based and activity-based lessons.
- Develop children's basic skills in language, numbers, general awareness, creativity, and motor development.
- Use stories, rhymes, music, games, art & craft, puppets, role play, and hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable.
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Monitor and document students' learning and developmental progress.
- Provide individual attention and support according to each child's needs.
- Develop good habits, manners, confidence, communication skills, and social behaviour.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of children at all times.
- Maintain classroom displays, teaching-learning materials, and activity resources.




- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's progress, behaviour, and development.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, activities, and co-curricular programmes.
- Maintain the teacher's diary, lesson plans, attendance, and other required records.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and the academic coordinator.
- Follow the school's culture, discipline, policies, and child-safety guidelines.
- Perform other academic or school duties assigned by the Principal/Management.

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Creative approach to teaching and learning.
- Ability to conduct engaging activities and interactive lessons.
- Good command of spoken English.
- Basic knowledge of smart-class/digital teaching tools will be an advantage.
- Professional, punctual, disciplined, and presentable.

Qualification

- Graduate with NTT / D.El.Ed / B.Ed. / equivalent qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in a reputed school or pre-primary setting will be an advantage.
- Freshers with the right skills and attitude may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
