Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and technically sound Chemist with 1–4 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for laboratory analysis, quality control, production support, maintaining chemical testing records, and ensuring compliance with company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per approved testing procedures and specifications.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of products during the manufacturing process.
- Support the Production Department in process monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples required for laboratory testing.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, logbooks, and documentation.
- Ensure proper sampling, labeling, storage, and disposal of chemical samples.
- Identify deviations in test results and immediately report them to the Senior Chemist / QC Head.
- Assist in investigation of quality issues and take corrective actions as instructed.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and discipline in the laboratory.
- Follow all chemical, process, electrical, fire, and personal safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE while handling chemicals and performing laboratory activities.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Maintenance, and other departments whenever required.




- Assist in calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and company quality standards.
- Participate in internal audits, quality improvement activities, and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare daily/weekly laboratory reports as required by the department head.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager / Management.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of chemical testing and laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge of handling laboratory instruments and chemical equipment.
- Basic understanding of chemical manufacturing processes.
- Ability to identify abnormalities and troubleshoot routine laboratory/process issues.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of chemical safety and laboratory safety practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to work in a chemical manufacturing plant setting.

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, QC, production chemistry, or laboratory operations will be preferred.

Experience

- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in Chemical Industries.
- Freshers may not be preferred; candidates with hands-on industrial/laboratory experience will be given priority.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
