Reliance Entertainment Studios Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Screenplay Writing / Development Intern to join our creative team and gain hands-on experience in the development of films, web series, and digital content.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a strong interest in screenwriting, storytelling, films, OTT, and digital content
- Has good writing, research, and communication skills
- Understands the basics of story structure, character development, screenplay writing, and dialogue
- Enjoys brainstorming and developing original story ideas and concepts
- Can research subjects and translate research into concept notes, synopses, treatments, and story ideas
- Has an understanding of current trends in cinema, OTT platforms, YouTube, and social media storytelling
- Is creative, curious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Is comfortable working with Google Docs, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, and other commonly used digital tools
- Is open to exploring AI-assisted writing, research, and ideation tools
- Students or recent graduates from Film, Mass Communication, Journalism, Literature, Creative Writing, Media, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply

What You’ll Work On

As a Screenplay Writing / Development Intern, you will get exposure to:

- Brainstorming and developing story ideas and creative concepts
- Conducting research for films, web series, and digital projects
- Preparing concept notes, loglines, synopses, treatments, and character profiles
- Assisting in screenplay development and narrative structuring
- Supporting the development of long-form content such as films and web series




- Exploring ideas for short-form and digital content, including YouTube and social media
- Researching existing films, shows, genres, audiences, and content trends
- Creating and refining pitch decks and story presentation materials
- Working closely with writers, directors, producers, and the creative development team
- Participating in creative discussions, brainstorming sessions, and development meetings
- Assisting the team throughout different stages of the content development lifecycle

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

- Strong command of written English
- Good storytelling and creative writing ability
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Good understanding of films, storytelling, and popular culture
- Ability to think creatively and develop original ideas
- Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve

Valuable to Have:

- Knowledge of screenplay-writing formats
- Experience writing short stories, scripts, sketches, YouTube content, or other creative formats
- Academic projects or personal work related to filmmaking, screenwriting, or content development
- Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Excel, or similar tools
- Exposure to AI tools for writing, research, brainstorming, or content development

Portfolio

Candidates are encouraged to share writing samples, scripts, short stories, treatments, pitch decks, college projects, published work, or any other relevant creative work along with their CV.
