Roles and Responsibilities:

The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and accurately assigning standardized medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services. These codes are used for billing, insurance reimbursement, compliance, and data analysis. The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of coding guidelines, and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Review patient medical records to ensure complete and accurate documentation
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures
- Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations, payer policies, and facility guidelines
- Work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify documentation when needed
- Submit coded data for billing and reimbursement purposes




- Conduct coding audits and correct errors as identified
- Stay current with coding updates, industry changes, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Completion of a medical coding training program
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Robust attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
