Scope:

Provide advanced technical expertise, strategic input in efficacy evaluation for agrochemicals and general chemicals. Ensure that biological testing and data generation meet both Indian and international regulatory standards.

Role Purpose

To oversee efficacy assessment programs for agrochemical and related chemical products, ensuring scientifically robust, regulatory-compliant, and cost-effective study designs. The role provides senior-level scientific guidance, mentorship to junior scientists, and acts as a key technical advisor in efficacy and biological performance evaluation.

Key Accountabilities

· Develop detailed protocols for field and laboratory testing in coordination with CROs and research institutes. Ensure studies are scientifically sound, reproducible, and aligned with regulatory objectives.

· Critically review raw data, statistical analyses, and final study reports to ensure validity, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

· Prepare or review efficacy sections of registration dossiers, including Biological Assessment Dossiers, summaries, and justifications.

· Work closely with regulatory affairs, toxicology, formulation, and residue teams to provide integrated solutions and support overall product registration strategy.

· Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and external clients regarding trial design, product positioning, data gaps, and study optimization.





· Ensure that all studies are conducted under GLP or national Good Experimental Practices (GEP) where applicable.

· Stay updated with the latest efficacy guidelines, statistical tools, and global regulatory developments to strengthen organizational capability.

Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceCritical Knowledge

- M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences (Agronomy, Entomology, or Plant Pathology) – Ph.D. preferred.
- Strong understanding of crop physiology, pest and disease management, and agricultural practices.
- Working knowledge of experimental design, biostatistics, and regulatory frameworks for efficacy evaluation (e.g., CIBRC, OECD, FAO, EPPO guidelines).
- Basic understanding of formulation chemistry and environmental interactions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi and/or regional languages preferred.

- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.

Critical Experience

- Minimum 0 –2 years of experience in agrochemical efficacy research, field trials, or regulatory science.
- Proven track record of leading multi-location efficacy studies and coordinating with CROs or research institutions.
- Experience in preparing efficacy dossiers for submission to regulatory authorities in India or other regions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
