Job Summary

We are looking for a PPC Executive – Fabric responsible for fabric planning, procurement coordination, production scheduling, inventory monitoring, and ensuring the timely availability of fabric for garment production. The role requires close coordination with Fabric Sourcing, Merchandising, Production, Stores, Quality, and Vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fabric requirement plans based on production orders, styles, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the Fabric Sourcing/Buying and Merchandising teams for fabric requirements and availability.
- Prepare and maintain fabric purchase and requirement plans as per production schedules.
- Track fabric orders from booking to delivery and ensure timely receipt at the factory/warehouse.
- Monitor fabric stock, consumption, wastage, and balance quantities.
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, shortages, and delays.
- Ensure the availability of the right fabric, colour, composition, GSM, width, and quantity as per requirement.
- Prepare daily/weekly fabric status reports and highlight shortages or potential production risks.
- Coordinate with Stores for fabric inward, inspection, allocation, and issue to production.
- Follow up with Quality for fabric inspection and resolve quality-related issues with vendors.
- Monitor fabric lead time and maintain proper records of pending and completed fabric orders.
- Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure fabric availability as per the production plan.




- Identify potential fabric shortages and take corrective action to avoid production delays.
- Maintain MIS reports for fabric orders, stock, pending quantities, inward quantities, and consumption.
- Update ERP/Excel systems with fabric order and inventory details.
- Support cost and inventory control by minimizing excess fabric, shortages, and dead stock.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of fabric-related purchase and production records.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of fabric types, GSM, width, composition, colour, and consumption.
- Strong understanding of PPC and garment manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of fabric planning, procurement follow-up, and inventory management.
- Strong coordination and vendor follow-up skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software systems.
- Good communication skills with internal teams and fabric suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

- Timely availability of fabric as per production plan.
- Reduction in fabric shortages and production delays.
- Accuracy of fabric requirement planning.
- Timely follow-up and closure of pending fabric orders.
- Effective inventory and excess-stock control.
- Accuracy and timely submission of PPC/MIS reports.
- Reduction in fabric wastage and material-related production losses.

Education

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Textile, Apparel, Fashion, Production, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in garment manufacturing, apparel brands, textile sourcing, fabric planning, or export houses will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
