Comfit & Valves manufactures precision instrumentation valves and fittings for the oil & gas, power, chemical and process industries — serving India and export markets, supplied against ISO 9001 and approvals including EIL, NPCIL and API. We're looking for a Quality Head to take full ownership of our Quality function and Quality Management System.

The Role
Reporting to the Plant Head, you'll lead Incoming, In-process and Final Inspection plus Quality Documentation, act as Management Representative, and ensure product is delivered defect-free — with quality issues closed through proper root cause analysis.

What We're Looking For
✅ B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Metallurgical Engineering
✅ 10–18 years in quality within precision engineering/valve manufacturing, incl. 5+ years heading a quality function
✅ Background in instrumentation/industrial valves, precision engineering,



oil & gas equipment or aerospace preferred
✅ Solid grip on QMS/ISO 9001, NDT (UT/RT/DP), material grades (SS, Inconel, Hastelloy, Duplex etc.), critical test benches, and type testing standards (ASTM F1387, BS 4368, ISO 15848 etc.)
✅ ASNT/ISO 9712 Level II or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor — added advantage

What You'll Own
- QMS ownership as Management Representative — ISO 9001 and customer/third-party approvals
- Inspection, NDT governance, calibration and material verification
- Non-conformity closure, CAPA and customer complaint resolution
- Customer, third-party and external audit management
- Building a high-capability quality team
