We are looking for a QC Chemist / Lab Technician with experience in plastic/polymer testing, preferably recycled PP, to carry out routine quality-control testing of recycled PP granules at our manufacturing unit in Bawana Industrial Area.

The candidate will be responsible for testing incoming and finished recycled PP material and maintaining accurate test records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform density testing of PP granules using a density kit.
- Perform ash content testing using a muffle furnace.
- Perform MFI (Melt Flow Index) testing, if required.
- Perform moisture testing, if required.
- Ensure proper sample collection and preparation.
- Accurately operate an analytical/precision balance.
- Follow proper laboratory testing procedures and maintain consistency in testing.
- Record test results and maintain QC reports/batch-wise records.
- Identify significant variations in density, ash, MFI, etc. and report them.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure testing equipment is used safely and correctly.
- Help establish and maintain standard testing procedures (SOPs) for recycled PP granules.

Required Qualification:

- B.Sc.



Chemistry / Diploma in Chemical Laboratory Technology / Diploma or degree in Polymer/Plastics technology preferred.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Preferred Experience:

- 1–3 years of experience in QC/testing of plastics, polymers, plastic recycling or a related manufacturing industry.
- Experience with PP/PE materials will be preferred.
- Practical knowledge of density, ash %, MFI, moisture and basic polymer testing is preferred.

Important:
The candidate should be comfortable working with a muffle furnace, analytical balance and density-testing equipment and should understand proper laboratory safety procedures.

Working Arrangement:

- Part time position
- 1–2 visits per week
- Each visit will generally involve routine material testing and recording of results.
- Suitable for candidates who are currently working elsewhere and are looking for part-time laboratory/QC work, subject to their availability.

Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹1,000.00 per day
