We are looking for a Draftsman to join our team in the Fire Safety Industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD.
The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of AutoCAD, attention to detail, and the ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into accurate drawings.
Freshers with good AutoCAD knowledge can also apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Prepare drawings related to fire safety and fire protection systems as per project requirements.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on technical changes.
- Prepare layouts, plans, and detailed drawings as instructed by the technical/project team.
- Understand project requirements and convert them into proper technical drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing formats, dimensions, symbols, and annotations.
- Coordinate with engineers and other team members for drawing-related requirements.
- Make necessary corrections and revisions in drawings.
- Maintain and organize project drawings and related documents.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and completed within the given timelines.
- Follow company standards and project-specific drawing requirements.
Required Skills
- Mandatory: Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of 2D drafting and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of dimensions, layouts, symbols, and annotations.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to understand technical instructions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn fire safety systems and technical requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Graduate in relevant technical field preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years.
- Freshers can apply if they have good practical knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Candidates should be comfortable working from the office.
- Candidates should be able to prepare and modify drawings independently after understanding project requirements.
