About Business Unit

EQ Sirius US programme (Vega) scope is defined as the various outputs (Products) that will be created by the Work Streams that will enable the clients to be migrated from the FIS Sunstar system to the EQ Sirius systems. To deliver a transitional architecture that supports current (Sunstar) and new (Sirius) EQ solution platforms during the migration transition.

Roles and Responsibility

Sr. Full Stack Developer (ReactJS, .NET & Playwright)

Role Summary

Sr. Full Stack Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using ReactJS and .NET, with a strong focus on reusable UI frameworks, scalable backend services, and automated testing using Playwright.

This role combines front-end and backend engineering expertise to deliver high-quality, secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. The individual will drive adoption of modern engineering practices, component-based development, and test automation while collaborating closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS, .NET Core, and associated technologies.
- Build reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design system assets to promote consistency across applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs,



backend services, and microservices using ASP.NET Core/.NET Core.
- Create, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Ensure applications adhere to performance, scalability, accessibility, and security best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across teams.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, API, and performance issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
- Mentor junior developers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion quality engineering through test automation and code quality standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, reusable templates, and engineering standards.

Technical Expectations

Frontend Development

- Strong expertise in ReactJS, Hooks, Component Lifecycle, State Management, and Component Design Patterns.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
- Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Robust understanding of responsive design and accessibility (WCAG).

Backend Development

- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.

Test Automation





- Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and End-to-End automation.
- Experience building automated regression and functional test suites.
- Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent testing frameworks.

Tools & Practices

- Git and source control best practices.
- Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Storybook or component-driven development tools.
- Exposure to Azure Cloud services is preferred.

Education & Experience

- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Proven experience building and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks.
- Experience with cloud-native applications and Azure is advantageous.
