About the Role

We are looking for a Production Planning & Inventory Coordinator (PPIC) professional to manage production planning, material availability, inventory control, and coordination across different departments. The ideal candidate will ensure that production schedules are achieved efficiently while maintaining optimum inventory levels and minimizing material shortages, excess stock, and production delays.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on demand, capacity, and order priorities.

· Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production operations.

· Monitor availability of raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished goods as per production requirements.

· Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize stock shortages, excess inventory, and material wastage.

· Track daily production against planned targets and identify delays, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.

· Coordinate with the Purchase and Procurement teams for timely availability of required materials.

· Align production plans with sales forecasts, customer orders, and dispatch schedules.

· Maintain accurate production and inventory data in ERP/MRP systems.

· Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper reconciliation between physical stock and system stock.

· Conduct and support stock verification, cycle counts,



and inventory reconciliation.

· Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to production, inventory, material status, and plan adherence.

· Identify planning and inventory-related issues and coordinate with concerned departments for timely resolution.

· Support process improvements to reduce production downtime, inventory holding costs, material wastage, and planning inefficiencies.

· Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of all PPIC-related records and reports.

Required Skills

· Good knowledge of Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC).

· Understanding of inventory management and material planning.

· Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Positive coordination and communication skills.

· Ability to work with multiple departments and manage priorities.

· Good understanding of production processes, material flow, and inventory control.

· Ability to prepare and analyze MIS reports.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in Production, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

· Candidates with relevant experience in PPIC, Production Planning, Inventory Control, or Manufacturing Operations will be preferred.

Experience

· 2–5 years of relevant experience in PPIC, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or a manufacturing environment.

· Experience in an FMCG, Food, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or similar manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
