HR Generalist

About the Role

This position is focused on HR Administration and HR Operations, rather than Office Management. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR activities, maintaining employee records, managing HR processes, producing reports and analytics, and ensuring accurate data management across HR systems.

Responsibilities

- Support recruitment activities including job advertising, CV screening, initial candidate calls, and interview coordination.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and induction programmes.
- Prepare and maintain timesheet reports while ensuring data accuracy across systems.
- Update and manage employee records, contracts, benefits, and HR documentation in line with GDPR requirements.
- Support probation reviews, employee benefits administration, and health insurance processes.
- Process employee-related reimbursements and disbursements.
- Coordinate offboarding activities and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
- Assist with compliance requirements, funding schemes, and accreditation processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR procedures, HR processes, and best practices.
- Generate HR reports and analyse employee-related data, including headcount, turnover, absences,



and other workforce metrics.
- Maintain and update information within HR systems and support HR reporting activities.

Requirements

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an HR, HR Administration, or HR Operations role.
- Strong experience managing HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, contracts, policy administration, and general HR operations.
- Experience producing HR reports, analysing HR data, and preparing information for management.
- Experience using HR systems (HRIS), such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English.
- Maltese language skills will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of employment law would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
