Job Summary

NJL Construction Private Limited is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounts, cash inflow and outflow, site labour records, attendance, salary preparation, and related financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records of all company transactions.
- Record and monitor cash inflow and outflow, payments, receipts, expenses, and outstanding amounts.
- Maintain proper supporting documents, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
- Maintain site-wise labour attendance through the company's ERP application.
- Verify and update daily labour attendance and ensure site records are accurate.
- Prepare weekly labour salary details based on attendance and approved rates.
- Coordinate with site supervisors regarding attendance, overtime, advances, and salary-related information.
- Prepare salary statements and maintain proper records of salary payments/disbursements.
- Track labour advances and deductions and ensure they are properly recorded.
- Assist in bank, cash, and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain organized financial records for management review and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to collect required financial and labour-related information.
- Ensure all accounting entries and records are updated on time and accurately.




- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting, preferably in a construction company, will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounts, cash handling, salary calculation, and basic bookkeeping.
- Comfortable working with ERP applications, MS Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Valuable numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site staff, labour supervisors, and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company financial and salary information.
- Immediate joining preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in handling accounts for construction projects, site expenses, labour attendance, and labour salary processing will be highly preferred.
