About LEAP: provides industry-oriented Project Based Learning to STEM institutes by focussed programs from 1 to final year of BTech/BSc/BCA/MSc/MCA. LEAP was founded by IIT professors and industry veterans. It was incubated in the IIT Madras Incubation Cell with seed funding from the Maker Bhavan Foundation, USA. In 1 year, LEAP students work in teams to improve existing products. In 2 year, teams design and build a working prototype to solve a problem of society. These are typically robotic devices for agriculture, healthcare, home/office automation, etc. In the 3 and 4 years, students explore specific domains in greater depth through mini-projects, internships and major projects. In all LEAP programs, students are guided by their college faculty with help from LEAP experts.

Qualifications and experience:
- BTech/MTech or equivalent OR MBA OR graduation 5+ years relevant experience (academia or industry)
- Experience in project management using cooperative platforms, including multi-team coordination and client interfacing
- Good written and verbal communications and inter-personal skills
- Desirable Experience in managing hands-on robotics classes/competitions at school or college level Product design, development and delivery in industry
